Current Trustees

There are currently five Trustees of the Hutt Mana Charitable Trust. They were appointed from
the current elections, held in 2010.

	Ian Hutchings (Chairperson) A Trustee of both the present Trust and its precursor Trust the Energy Direct Community Trust. Mr Hutchings was elected to the Hutt Mana Charitable Trust to represent Johnsonville, Newlands, Tawa. 	Prue Lamason (Deputy Chairperson) One of two trustees elected in 2010 to represent Lower Hutt. Ms Lamason has been a Greater Wellington Regional Councillor since 2007. 	Sarah Dow Ms Dow is the trustee elected in 2010 to represent the Porirua area. Ms Dow has served on the Porirua Community Trust, Trust Porirua, and Mana Community Grants Foundation for 6 years. Ms Dow was the Deputy Chairperson of Trust Porirua. Contact 04-236 6144; email sarahdow30@gmail.com
	John Gwilliam A Trustee since 2001, when he was elected to the Upper Hutt constituency of the Hutt Mana Energy Trust. Mr Gwilliam is also a councillor on Upper Hutt City Council. Contact: 04-527 8505; email gwilliamsj@xtra.co.nz
	Ken Laban Mr Laban was elected in 2010 as one of two trustees to represent Lower Hutt. He has been a board member of the Hutt Valley DHB since 2004. Mr Laban was elected in 2010 as a councillor to the Hutt City Council. Contact 04-971 8982; email kenl@paradise.net.nz
Election information The recent election of Trustees was a postal ballot held in conjunction with the Local Authority elections in 2010. Nominations were opened on Friday 23 July 2010 and closed at Noon on Friday 20 August 2010. The election was conducted using the First Past the Post process.
